Can we really know whether the iPhone will not be released by Verizon?

I see nothing new, but nothing really official when or if ever with an iPhone Verizon. Some sites say that the end of 2009, others say that in the summer of 2010 or early 2010. Anyone who really knows?

For now, AT & T exclusive rights to the iPhone in the U.S. will be so until early 2010. At times in the first six months of 2010, expect to see an iPhone from T-Mobile and other GSM networks. Today iPhone is a GSM phone, which means the type of phone that uses a SIM card and works on networks such as T-Mobile and AT & T. Verizon, by contrast, is a network CDMA – is a completely different technology. Apple would have to completely rethink the iPhone to be compatible with Verizon, for its part, Verizon is a large network, it is quite possible Apple could create an iPhone that works with your network. ZDNet blog reported that Apple and Verizon have been in since last April, negotiations on an agreement to build CDMA phones, so keep watching.
