The new iPhone has better battery life than the previous? And how is the volume on this subject?

I love my current iPhone and I really do not need HD video conferencing, or multi-tasking capabilities in the new iPhone, but if you have a better battery life and much more powerful volume can be mounted that the old iPhone, I think to get it.
