MMS does not work the brand new iPhone 3G? OS: 3.1, 5.0, AT & T?

I just got a new 3G iPhone today after Reset my old 3G airport. I was going to send a photo to a friend and not see the camera button right next to the text imput / send button area. I have also heard from a friend that his work was not new either. I am currently running OS 3.1 and AT & T5. I have activated through iTunes, but I did not want to worry about updating to 3.2 think that it would need. Is it my problem or AT & T has eliminated new MMS?

MMS was the update 3.12. You need to upgrade and then restart the phone.
