Will the iPod touch in the price?

I am thinking of buying an iPod Touch 32 GB. Currently, $ 299. But my aunt told me that Apple is come with something new this year, so I expect that my iPod could fall in the price. Is this true? If so, when the price will drop?

Only last September, many features have been added and the price had fallen to what the old 16 GB cost. Best thing is going to do until the new generation comes in the fall and is reduced for clearance.
