3G iPhone screen frozen USB and itunes icons?

I unplugged the USB cable from my computer, made me decide not to synchronize. Suddenly, USB and itunes icons displayed on the screen. I tried holding down the power button and the house at the same time, it did not work. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!
