iphone 3g help edge/3g/gsm network tmobile?

i have been doin some research and theres rumors of how the phone would work on the tmobile service… i have tmobile with the nokia 5300 and i have been looking into a iphone 3g due to its low price… but if somehow i get the phone unlocked could i still use its features… idk if tmobile has 3g and if it doesn’t then could i still browse the internet through the tmobile edge network?…i have tmobile and i have unlimited edge network usage…i want the features of the iphone but i dont want stupid at&t… if thereis no way i can use the iphone 3g with tmoile cwat is some good tmobile/unlocked GSM phones i can use that i could bu… i want Good internet browsing,3rd party apps,the ability to watch youtube videos, and a very good MP3/music player… THANKS!

okie …. here ya go 3g is not available thru Tmobile so the iPhone will fall back on Edge its MUCH slower.
With the purchase of the 3g iPhone you are required to activate it at the store with ATT, if you cancel afterwards thats $175 early termination fee.
Since the phone is not out yet no one knows if the phone can be hacked. Apple has hinted that they have done some things to the phone to prevent it from being hacked… just a thought.
Also once the orignal iPhone was hacked there were always features that wouldnt work correctly .. to no fault of Apple due to the unlock. Utube most often wouldnt work unless a patch was downloaded and then even that didnt guarentee it would work.
You may want to consider another phone….since in theory this could cost over $400 with the purchase and cancel fees. And it may not ever work on another network.
