How I can activate my iPhone? Just stopped working?

I yeterday SMS and suddenly my screen froze and I can read my incoming text, so I used a hard reset and waited a few minutes to rectify. I Software 3.0 for developers, problems like these are so small and are generally set by a manual reset. I hold the button Eva reopen my phone, but the screen stays black. I tried using a manual reset so do not try to tell me. I tried all combinations of buttons, but the iPhone will not start. I think this has something to do with the new 3.0 software available for the public and now the software developer is not updated. Please help me! I'm so confused and I need to return the phone at least until Thursday, I tried connecting to my computer and on the wall. Neither work.
