IPhone for Verizon or just another rumor?

I heard recently (less than a week ago) that Verizon will be providing service for the IPhone in September-ish, is this true or just another rumor? I would really like to know because i get an upgrade soon and it is either the Droid immediateley or wait a month or two and get the IPhone. Thanks, Danke, Merci Beaucoup

Verizon will get the iphone!!!!! You have to look at it in a business perspective, if apple wants to make millions of dollars, they should go to Verizon.

Also AT&T increased their ETF (early termination fee) to 325 dollars starting June 1st to all smart phones on their service. The only reasons AT&T did this is because they fear a Verizon iphone, knowing that people will switch to Verizon for the iphone.
