I can not use my TMobile 3G / Iphone, Verizon etc?

I just called T-Mobile after unlocking the iPhone. Yes its a bit pointless. No way to avoid that I know. The reason it does not work is that AT & T T-Mobile use different frequencies for signal 3G 3G. Thus, the iPhone tries to capture the signal at the highest frequency while T-Mobile 3G is transmitted in the lower frequency.
