3G iPhone can not send messages with images?

I recently switched from O2 to Vodafone and now I have the habit of sending or receiving messages iphone image. I tried to call Vodafone and MMS messages. I tried to put another sim card in my iphone and MMS where it wouldnt work so I think it is a problem with the phone and not on the network .. What should I do?
